The TradeMark Experience on “Inglourious Basterds”

So earlier today, my Dad suggested to me that we go see “Inglourious Basterds.” I wasn’t particularly excited about seeing this movie, but the ads looked decent, and hey, what the hell else is there to do on a Monday at 6:40pm? So I said “sure, why not?”
Man, what a great decision that was. If you have not already done so, go see “Inglourious Basterds” IMMEDIATELY! This move kicked 7 different shades of ass. There was a lot more gore than I expected (which is saying something when Tarantino is involved), but many of Quentin’s trademarks (no pun intended) turned what could have been a paint-by-numbers war movie into something truly epic. Awesome dialogue, weird-yet-strangely fitting soundtrack, and a strong cast (Brad Pitt turned in another solid performance… has this guy ever disappointed?) make this a must see picture.
Of course, if you’re looking for historical accuracy, this is not the film for you (those who have already seen it know exactly what I’m talking about!). However, if you can enjoy a few hours of good, not-so-clean fun, “Inglourious Basterds” is definitely a good choice for your next movie.
If I had to sum up the movie in one word? Entertaining. Take that for what it is worth.
